Marco Paoletti has traveled in more than 45 countries looking for new ideas, teaching workshops and performing shows (variete, dinner-shows, street festivals, theatre, private, conventions, circus, etc.) now he is based in Berlin. Following on from the success of his recent show "12 Pieces of stuff", a show revealing 12 personal images of Marcos private life that comes to its totality with live music, video and image projection. 12 Pieces of stuff is performed with Milian Vogel (music) and Christian Kielblock (video projection) in Germany, France and Finland. Marco has a new creation with Christian Kielblock called "Interface", a show about the boundaries between Internet public content and real life privacy. The commitments to his art makes his life a constant research in creative and experimental juggling. He also has his solo acts Mini Meros, Bounce, Meros Manotasos, De Mi and Wall Clown (from Tobias Wegner). Another creation was "Stuff" (throwing music and catching objects) with Sebastian Gerer (music) and Shannon Cooney as dramaturge performed in Germany, USA, Brasil, Belgium, Holland and France. He is also in creation and research of his solo project that will be presented in Buenos Aires in November 2010.
My juggling is a mix of different styles I have seen and learned over the past number of years. I work on my own way of expressing myself and try to be technical and creative when I juggle. My goal as a performer is to create an intimate atmosphere where I can manipulate objects for the pleasure and amusement of the audience - a place where I can show and give myself fully.
My goal as a teacher is to give knowledge and structure. Without technique and hard work progress is very slow. Understanding your juggling, yourself and your body is the only way to improve and amaze yourself. |
